WHY CHOOSE BUNDLE?
Here are a few reasons: Our cotton diapers ('prefolds') are the highest quality around. You will never receive a ripped or stained diaper. You can count on your delivery arriving as planned each week. Your bag of diapers is personalized with a tag made just for your baby. We are on-call to talk you through cloth diapering problems. We are genuine about our commitment to protecting the environment: our delivery van runs on biodiesel, we carry biodegradable wipes and disposables, all of our printing is done on 100% post consumer recycled paper, and for a small surcharge ($2.25/week) we can deliver your diapers in waterproof cloth bag instead of a recycled plastic bag each week. We make your life easier by delivering all sorts of baby care products along with your diapers. We carry adorable diaper covers that don't leak, and we provide each customer with individualized service to help them create a diapering system that works best for their family.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Getting ready: Unload your clean diapers from the bag that they were delivered in, and use this bag to line your diaper pail. Put the deodorizer on the inside lid of your pail. Take the cotton diaper, fold it lengthwise and stick it into the diaper cover. Now you put the diaper on your baby just like you would a disposable diaper.

Dirty diapers: When the diaper is soiled just toss it into your diaper pail. Poop: if your baby is not eating solid food you do not need to rinse off the poop. Otherwise just shake the excess poop into the toilet. We carry flushable liners and diaper sprayers to make this step easier. The diaper cover should be clean and ready to re-use; if it is dirty you can wipe it off or toss it in with your regular laundry.

Delivery day: Tie up your bag of dirty diapers with the tag and rubberband that they were delivered with and leave the bundle out on the front porch for pick up. Have your bag out by 9am. We count the number of diapers that you return, and deliver your full order to you each week . This way we keep track of the number of diapers that you have. We do charge for any diapers that are outstanding when you end service.

Change your order: If you are going on vacation, need some products added to your delivery, or just want to change your diaper size just let us know by noon of the day prior to your delivery.

IS BUNDLE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN DISPOSABLES?
No, cloth diapering is a great way to save money. Okay, not enough to vacation in Hawaii, but probably enough to support your latte habit. Since children in cloth diapers potty train, on average, one year earlier than children using disposables, you also save a significant amount of money by cutting out that extra year of diapering.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE SERVICE?
Each week we pick up your dirty diapers and deliver a bag of freshly laundered cotton diapers, personalized with a tag just for your baby. The diapers will come in a recycled plastic bag or for an additional charge a waterproof cloth bag. At the beginning of each month we deliver a new deodorizer to place on the inside lid of your diaper pail. Your first delivery will come with a small package including instructions for how to use the diapers, a deodorizer, and some information on other local family resources.

We offer free delivery of biodegradable disposable diapers, wipes, and all of the other eco home and baby gear that we carry.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED?
Diaper covers. We suggest starting with between six and eight covers. We deliver cotton prefold diapers, so the diaper covers are the waterproof cover. No pins necessary, just stick the diaper into the cover and then put it on just like a disposable. These covers are yours to keep and to launder.

WHICH DIAPER COVERS SHOULD I CHOOSE?
If you are having twins definitely start with the Bummis as they run the smallest. Otherwise start with a selection of the different brands that we carry to see which works the best for you.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
Below is an approximate outline of our service area, the green pin is our retail shop location.  In general, we deliver north to Fort Collins, south to C-470, east to E-470, and west to Golden and Highway 93.  We do not deliver to Nederland or up the canyons, but we are happy to help develop a pick-up/drop-off situation that can work for a single family or multiple families.  If you live in a town just outside our service area (e.g. Lyons), we are happy to discuss providing service for a guaranteed minimum number of clients.  The pink shaded areas indicate outlying areas where we deliver for an extra charge.  In general, the extra charge is $1 per one-way mile beyond our normal service boundaries.

I AM OUTSIDE OF YOUR SERVICE AREA
You should probably move. It's worth it. No, actually, just stay put. You can pick up and drop off your diapers at our shop in Boulder for a discounted rate. You can also exchange diapers out of an office or car, or borrow a friend's porch. Another option is to wash your own diapers- we sell everything you need to wash your own diapers, and can answer any questions that you have along the way.

HOW ARE THE DIAPERS WASHED?
We could talk your ear off about this. In terms of your baby, know that our diapers are professionally laundered to the highest standards of health and sanitation. We put them on our own kids.

The diapers undergo a 13-stage process designed to thoroughly wash and sanitize the diapers, then leave the diapers at skin pH (~5.5) and chlorine-free. We use no perfumes or dyes. Diapers are periodically sent to an independent laboratory to test for sterility.  We check our loads daily to ensure each is at the proper pH. (A common home-washing problem is alkalinity, or a pH that is too high, which can lead to diaper rash.)

After much research, we chose for our laundry equipment a UniMac UW-model washer, which we chose because of its green engineering.  We enhanced the UW's green profile by installing a tankless water heating system to supply hot water. Check out this page for information about the environmental creds of our washing process and cloth diapering in general.

WHEN DO I GET MY DIAPERS?
We will bring you your first package of diapers two weeks before your due date. When your new baby arrives just contact us and we will start regular service at that time. You are not charged for the weeks that you are not using the diapers, as you wait for baby to arrive.

If your baby is already here, we will bring you your first package of diapers the next time we are in your neighborhood, within one week.

Once you get signed up we will give you a call to introduce ourselves, answer any questions, and get you scheduled on the appropriate route.

HOW DO I PUT ON THE DIAPERS?
Diaper covers can hold prefolds in a variety of ways. You can simply fold the pre-fold in thirds by folding the thinner sides into the middle, placing it in your cover, and then fastening your cover closed. You can also fold the pre-fold into thirds lengthwise like a letter, making for a thicker prefold for bedtime and nap-time. Make sure that all of the cloth is tucked inside the cover.

MY DIAPERS ARE LEAKING. HELP!!
Double check that all of the cloth is fitting inside the cover so that the moisture is not wicking onto the clothing. Likewise, make sure that the prefold is folded wide enough to cover the cover, so that the cover is not getting messy.

WHAT IS MY DELIVERY DAY?
See the map below.  If you click the link below the map, it will take you to a google maps page where each color is labeled by day. Or you can zoom in on the map right here on this page.

HOW DOES THE BILLING WORK?
We ask that you prepay for your first month of diaper service. After that, we bill at the end of the month for the previous month's service. We accept Visa and Mastercard as well as checks. Payment can be mailed to 2825 Wilderness Place suite 400 Boulder CO 80301. You are welcome to schedule vacation holds, just call us by noon of the day before your normal delivery. Of course, you are not charged for those weeks that you do not use the diapers. If you get your diapers before you get your baby, you are not charged for those long weeks that you spend waiting for baby, just call us when you are ready to start service.

I HAVE EXTRA DIAPERS AT THE END OF THE WEEK.
Ok, just stay calm. You can keep your extra diapers- if you consistently have leftover diapers just call us to change your order to receive a smaller number of diapers.

If there is leaking out the side of the cover you may need a larger or smaller cover. You could also try using a Snappi. This will help secure the pre-fold in place.

If the diaper and cover are saturated, try changing your baby more frequently or call to switch to a larger prefold. You can also use 2 pre-folds at once to create more absorbency.
