This is a gorgeous book, that describes with vivid pictures and lyrical verse the sweet rhythms of the world, and celebrates our place within them.  Passages like 'Nest, bird, feather, fly...all the world has got its sky,' and 'A fire takes away the chill...All the world can hold quite still.'  Alright, I'll admit it made me cry...but I'm kind of sappy like that.  This is truly a lovely book for all ages.  As Leslie Reiner of Inkwood Books put it: 'While the title suggests the big issues, the book magically affirms the importance of even the smallest creatures'
